Who Is TechMonkey?

TechMonkey

Software developer for more than 20 years. Have developed in Fortran, “C”, Java, PHP and Javascript. I’ve been on the Net since the early 90′s when everything was just text based. Started creating web pages/sites when the original Mosaic first came out. Started playing with Linux around 1998. Have used RedHat, SuSE, Debian and Ubuntu distributions. I run all Linux now, at work and at home.

How Do You Know Linuxchic?

I’ve known Linuxchic since 2001 when we worked together at the same company on the same project. She’s one of my best friends and she puts up with me and all my antics, lol. When she asked me to join AlternaGeek I thought it would be fun and a cool project to work on. I’m always glad to help her out when needed.

Where Is TechMonkey On The Net?

I’ve used variations of the name Darph Bobo (from “Tripping The Rift”) on my blogs and other places I haunt on the Net.
