How To Subscribe
In order to subscribe to the Alternageek website feed or podcast feed you will need two things, an RSS reader (also known as a news aggregator) and url (web address) of the feed that you wish to subscribe. The AlternaGeek website provides multiple ways to subscribe. To subscribe to the full AlternaGeek feed (all posts and podcasts), you can click on the RSS icon in the upper right corner of the site.
The associated link is what you will enter into your favorite RSS reader to subscribe to the feed. If you don’t want the full AlternaGeek feed but are interested in the feed for just our podcasts, you can click on the specific subscribe button associated with the podcast you want. The button for a standard RSS feed looks like this:
If you are an iTunes user, you can alternately click on the iTunes subscribe button to automatically import the feed into iTunes:
Once you have the selected feed in your RSS aggregator of choice, the site posts and/or podcasts will be automatically downloaded for you when new entries are published.If you are running Firefox and you want to subscribe to the full AlternaGeek feed, you can simply click on the orange RSS icon in the location bar to the right of the website URL for AlLternaGeek:
