We are growing thanks to you!

We have been having a really great time publishing podcasts and blog posts on Alternageek and want to thank everyone that has been spreading the word about our shows. One of the great things about word of mouth advertising is that it generates more traffic and more listeners. The downside to that is it also increases costs for hosting the site and bandwidth rates go up the more downloads we have. Alternageek has been growing fast and furiously and we are working hard to create engaging content and improve the overall site by releasing a brand spanking new site design. Traffic on the podcasts have been high enough to warrant our moving the site to a beefier server which will also speed up the downloads for you.

You can help support Alternageek by contributing through the donate buttons or clicking through the sponsors via the links in the sidebar. Every click helps us with the costs of hosting and bandwidth. Thank you for listening, commenting, and spreading the word about Alternageek. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to continuing to provide plenty of “geeky” content!

Good to hear you get more listeners.
Keep on the good work (and always have in mind - it should be fun; for YOU and US)

As always, we appreciate your comments. If it wasn’t fun, we wouldn’t be doing this! The best way we can make it fun for the listeners is to keep hearing feedback about what you like or don’t like. Once again, thanks for listening!
