Thanks for the comments. The Wordpress developers should definitely feel good about this release.I think they did an excellent job and I like the direction they are going Wordpress.

Another great show, too bad your cohort in crime left you all by yourself to handle the show. I imagine after doing a podcast for a while with someone it’s kind of awkward to do it by yourself. Anyway, you pulled it off quit nicely.

If they get some type of 3G on the Nokia N810, I’m all over it. Can you run VLC on the Nokia N810?

A big thank you to TechMonkey for pulling a lone podcast without me while I deal with family things. Much appreciated and excellent job!

I found that it is actually a lot harder to podcast alone. I had to do a lot more editing than I normally do, lol.

As far as the Nokia N810, you have to realize that it is not a phone and therefore will probably not have 3G itself. The N810 does support bluetooth dial up networking (Bluetooth DUN) and can tether to your cell phone as long as the phone supports DUN and you have a data plan. I have used my N810 with both a Samsung D357 and Samsung A707 (Sync) phone for internet access. If no wifi is available, I can go through my cellphone if needed and also get the speed of 3G since my Sync supports it.

There is a port of VLC for the N810. I haven’t tried it yet. To play media files, I use a great media player designed for the N810 called “Canola 2″. It is an extremely nice and full featured media player. It supports audio (mp3, ogg, wma), podcast streams, Last.fm streaming, Internet radio stations, video (avi, wmv, asf, 3gp, mp4), Youtube videos, photos and photocasts (stream from Flickr). You can check out the Canola website at Canola 2 Media Player.
