Hey great show this time. The volume levels were perfect and the sound quality was probably the best I have heard so far on Alternageek. I certainly don’t have a problem with you guys talking about Windows, I use both Windows and Linux everyday. It’s all about technology so there is no reason to focus on one side or the other.

Oh, I forgot to ask what happened to CodeNinja, did he vanish for good?

great show guys…lots of good info on OpenID I thought.

Russell, CodeNinja has decided to focus his talents on other projects.

Funny, from my point codemonkey has been so much overmodulated that I quitted the podcast before it ended so I never got your opinion on gOS :(

Funny thing how two people can have so much a different opinion …

Just check out Codemonkey speech at around timecode 03:30 .

But maybe its only my iTunes/iPod nano/Vista combination …

    Ohhh….
    of course its Techmonkey.
Sorry to confuse the name :)

Arno, I think perhaps you might be referring to the previous episode as we didn’t cover those topics you are referring to in this one. I apologize again, as I have before, for the technical difficulties that made the recording so rough last episode. I do hope you give THIS episode a listen before you pass further judgement on the quality of the recording or how other listeners thought it sounded. Thanks!

Double Oops. Yes has been for #26.
    #27 I am about to hear ;)
The quality usually is good enough. As I am now playing also a little with recording videos and narrating them I understand your problems now much better.

Really glad it sounded better for you. Recording is usually easy enough with one person, but once you are trying to connect more it makes it a little more challenging. The hardest part is keeping the quality but reducing/compressing it enough so that the final project isn’t a huge download. If you discover any tips or tricks when doing your videos please consider sharing them! Thanks again!

It appears an important link didn’t make it to the post, if you are looking for the instructions on how to use your domain/blog ID as your OpenID redirector Simon Willson’s post shows you how here: http://simonwillison.net/2006/Dec/19/openid/
