KC Bloggers Meetup
Saturday Linuxchic and myself attended a local Kansas City bloggers meetup. This wasn’t based on any specific organization (at the time of conception) but was setup to simply allow any local Kansas City bloggers, podcasters, twitterers, etc. to have a chance just to get together face to face.
There was an extremely small turnout which was a little disappointing, but the quality of attendees was excellent! Besides Linuxchic and myself, I was glad to see Jeff (unknown last name) and Ed Roberts.
Jeff is a local online friend and he blogs at jeffisageek.net. You can also find him on Twitter at http://twitter.com/jeffisageek. Jeff is truly a geek like the rest of us and pretty cool to hang out with.
Ed Roberts is a new media pioneer with numerous podcasting projects that you should definitely check out. Ed creates the following podcasts:
Ed can also be found on his Ed Roberts Blog and also on Twitter at http://twitter.com/EdRoberts.
I think everyone had a good time. I know I did. It was fun just hanging out for a bit with Linuxchic, Ed and Jeff. Always cool to finally meet online friends in person!
