New Phone Semi-Awesomeness

Picked up a new phone today, an XV6700 from Verizon. I haven’t gotten it working with linux quite yet, but the prospects look good, I’ve only put a few minutes into the effort thus far, hopefully I’ll have some progress to report by next week. Aside from the fact that it runs Windows, it seems to be a pretty nice device. QWERTY keyboard, wifi, bluetooth, nice touch screen, and a fairly decent camera. The Built-in IE browser, and MSN Messnger obviously suck, but after grabbing Opera for web browsing, and Octochat for IMing it’s starting to feel like a useful device.
